Vehicle Data Recorder Kit J-42598-B

The VDR CAN+ hardware is required to communicate with a control module that uses the GMLAN (CAN) protocol. GMLAN will be present on new GM vehicles. The VDR CAN+ is a redesigned product intended to be placed in the vehicle's cup holder and used to solve intermittent problems in the same manner as the current VDR. The new VDR CAN+ hardware will use the VDR Rev. 9.0 software and is capable of diagnoising previous OBDII vehicles (MY 1996-2004) & GMLAN (MY 2004).
